Sustainability and environmental protection has become more important within the international leader's agenda. Recently, Allianz has reinforced its commitment in sustainability while participating at the 6th Sustainable Innovation Forum in Paris COP21.
Within our sustainability program four assets of the French real estate portfolio have been efficiently refurbished according to high sustainable standards in order to optimize the buildings' performance. As a result we are happy to announce that they have obtained various certificates for their environmental attributes.
The building obtained dual certification BREEAM in-Use Parts 1 (Asset) and 2 (Building Management) at level "Excellent", respectively with a score of 71.3% and 78.2%. The Messine was completely renovated in 2005. It is located in the heart of the central business district in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.
The Equilis building has obtained the BREEAM In-Use certification / Part 1 (Asset) level Very Good, with a score of 59.9%. The property particularly distinguished itself in waste management (100%), welfare (72.73%) and transport (77.78%).
The modern skyscraper in Paris has obtained four certificates for its environmental attributes and performances:

The building has been sustainably redesigned in order to control impacts on the external environment and to create a comfortable indoor environment.
The 38 Opéra building located in Paris, has obtained the BREEAM Fit-Out "Very Good" environmental certification following the development works carried out on the two floors previously occupied by Google. This refurbishment certification concerns two floors of 2.400 m² leased to the Wragge Lawrence Graham law firm and to the Hiscox insurance company.
